LOTUS COMMUNICATIONS CORP./LAS VEGAS sales veteran CHARLIE BONNICI passed away NOV. 9th at 58 after surgery difficulties relating to cancer. After which, his brother, VP/GM TONY BONNICI, and his entire staff launched the CHARLIE BONNICI Memorial Blood Drive.
Their goal was to replenish the blood supply that was used during BONNICI’s surgery. Station clients, staff, listeners and friends all participated in the on-air two-day blood drive. They surpassed their goal, resulting in a total of 273 units of blood donated to LAS VEGAS UNITED BLOOD SERVICES. It was the biggest donation made on a "Black FRIDAY" holiday weekend since 2008.
