Ralph Cipolla Set To Leave Jacobs Media

After almost 10 years, consultant RALPH CIPOLLA is set to leave JACOBS MEDIA sometime in early 2013. CIPOLLA set a self-imposed term-limit almost two years ago.
"At some point in early 2013, I will be leaving JACOBS MEDIA," CIPOLLA told ALL ACCESS. "On my eight-year anniversary, I made a promise that I shared with FRED and PAUL JACOBS. If I reach 10 years and I'm still doing the same stuff I've been doing for the past eight years, it may be time for a change."
CIPOLLA also told ALL ACCESS "My 10-year anniversary at JACOBS MEDIA now looms like an ever-growing 'professional bucket-list' fiscal cliff. I have talked with family, close friends, total strangers on cross-country flights, the lawn guy and valued mentors, including FRED and PAUL JACOBS. The lawn guy is in full support of my decision, provided I keep paying him. As I contribute to on-going projects and transition efforts, I will begin to consider new ventures, starting this week at the ARBITRON CLIENT CONFERENCE in ANNAPOLIS, MD."
JACOBS MEDIA's FRED JACOBS said "RALPH has a diverse skill set -- a strong programmer who has great analytic talents as well as the ability to create graphic displays of data that are top-shelf. He is one of those rare left-brain/right-brain people. His goal is to hook up with a broadcaster or associated company that can best put his abilities to use. RALPH is joining me this week in ANNAPOLIS and is looking to put together some introductory meetings. If you are attending, he would love to say hello."
CIPOLLA also told ALL ACCESS, "10 years with the industry's preeminent consulting firm has been like a 10-year degree at the M.I.T. of Strategic Thinking and Skill-Set Development. Thanks to FRED and PAUL JACOBS, and too many other colleagues and clients to name here, I have emerged a much stronger thinker and broadcaster than I was in March of 2003."
