Rumors Of WTKK Spinning Format Wheel Gaining Momentum

Amidst persistent rumors of an imminent format flip for GREATER MEDIA Talk WTKK/BOSTON (NET NEWS, 12/11), ALL ACCESS is now hearing that changes are coming right after the first of the year -- and that Rhythmic Oldies could likely be the new format.
THE BOSTON HERALD has been hearing similar sentiments, as station personalities such as MICHAEL GRAHAM (NET NEWS, 12/24) and DOUG MEEHAN (NET NEWS, 12/17) exited in the past few weeks."We all expected there would be a switch to music when contracts weren’t renewed," GRAHAM told the paper. "What can I say; I had a great seven years."
SUSAN KAPLAN, who hosts "The Money Show" with RICK SHAFFER, tweeted "Radio show kaput... last show SUNDAY..." although she told THE HERALD that she has yet to be officially informed by station management of the show's future.
Morning show co-host MARGERY EAGAN hasn't been told of any changes either. "All I know is that co-host JIM [BRAUDE] and I will be on the air at 7a on JAN. 2nd."
GREATER MEDIA has refrained from commenting on the situation.
