WGTS VP/GM John Konrad Dies

WASHINGTON ADVENTIST UNIV. BROADCASTING Christian WGTS (91.9)/WASHINGTON, D.C. VP/GM JOHN KONRAD has died following a battle with bi-lateral pneumonia, as reported by ADVENTIST CHURCH CONNECT.  He was hospitalized early last week and showed signs of recovery and was discharged, but suffered a relapse and did not respond as hoped to further treatment.  JOHN leaves behind a legacy of service to radio, loving family, co-workers and a host of friends.  

The radio station has set up a page on their website, "Farewell to a Friend," where they note: "We're heartbroken, but taking comfort in the hope that we have in Jesus.  Our friend and GM of WGTS 91.9, JOHN CONRAD, passed away this morning in BALTIMORE, after a brief illness with pneumonia.  We are so grateful for your prayers for his wife DAWN and the rest of the family."

Listeners are invited to leave a message to the family on how JOHN has impacted their life.
