It's still quiet for sale application filings at the FCC, as the end-of-the-year rush gave way to a decidedly slower period this week. One new deal got filed in time to show up in FRIDAY's FCC database, CALVARY RADIO NETWORK, INC. selling FM translator W292DJ/LAKE BLUFF, IL to MB CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, LLC for $265.800. The translator, reaching CHICAGO's far northern suburbs, will rebroadcast the HD3 channel of UNIVISION Regional Mexican WOJO (LA QUE BUENA 105.1)/CHICAGO, which airs a simulcast of Spanish Talk WRTO-A (UNIVISION AMERICA)/CHICAGO.
CALVARY CHAPEL OF TWIN FALLS, INC. has applied for a Silent STA for FM translator W201CP/BINGHAMTON, NY due to an interference complaint from WWSA/GREENE, NY and the need to build out a new construction permit when weather permits.
And EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION has closed on the sale of FM translator W254BA/RIVERSIDE, OH to BRADLEE J. BEER for $32.500.
