CUMULUS Country WMDH/MUNCIE, IN has tapped AMANDA ROLLEN for middays. Prior to joining the station, ROLLEN hosted nights at BACKYARD BROADCASTING Hot AC WLBC/MUNCIE.
Several other changes taking place at WMDH include the exit of morning show co-host MICHELLE COOK. JASON “SLUBY” SLOAN will handle mornings solo, as COOK pursues opportunities in NASHVILLE. Her former co-host and WMDH PD CHRIS CARTER will shift from mornings to afternoons with the exit of afternoon personality ZACH McCOY. After just a few months on post, McCOY has left the station for APD/ afternoons at ARTISTIC MEDIA PARTNERS Top 40 WBWB/BLOOMINGTON.
Additionally, WMDH has hired MIKE LEES who had been a fixture at the station since 1986 before taking a hiatus in 2009. LEES temporarily handled middays until ROLLEN was hired permanently. He will now be the Public Affairs Coordinator, as well as fill-in/ weekend air talent.
PD CHRIS CARTER says that weekend staffer PHIL “DASH” DASHLER will gain added duties, and newcomers JORDYNN MILLER, KENT HOLMES and PAYNE HORNING have been added to the WMDH Production and weekend staff.
“The group we have in place now will make a strong core for WMDH to continue as not only the top choice for Country music but a strong community partner. We’ve found not only good talent, but people who have been- and want to be- a part of EAST CENTRAL INDIANA. I’m proud of the team we have put together and excited as we continue to grow our brand. Big year in store for WMDH in 2013!” said CARTER.
