TWO WAY COMMUNICATIONS, LLC is selling Country KBEY/BURNET, TX (in HILL COUNTRY west of AUSTIN) and its booster in MARBLE FALLS, TX to VICTORY PUBLISHING COMPANY, LTD. for $440,000 plus a time brokerage agreement before closing.
In other filings with the FCC, TUNE IN BROADCASTING, LLC has applied for an extension of its Silent STA for WKAL/ROME, NY while it constructs a main studio. The station, dark since last MAY, is scheduled to return to the air in MARCH 2013.
VERNON WELLS has closed on the sale of his 100% interest in WELLS BROADCASTING, INC., licensee of Southern Gospel KVDW-A (VERN 1530)/ENGLAND, AR, to ALVIN SIMMONS for $50,000.
ENTERCOM has applied for an extension of its STA to operate Tall WYRD-A/GREENVILLE, SC at reduced power while it repairs damage done to the ground system by copper thieves. The station has been operating with 500 watts in its night pattern since JUNE 2011.
And CNYRADIO.COM is reporting that the construction permit for silent WKAJ-A/ST. JOHNSVILLE, NY has been reinstated by the FCC after the station's licensee CRANESVILLE BLOCK COMPANY provided "information not previously before us" to the Commission explaining the flooding situation that prevented reconstruction of the facility before a deadline passed.
