Bob Wohlfeld Exits WDST After Just 11 Days

Not even two weeks after CHET-5 BROADCASTING launched "Wakin' Up With THE WOLF," WDST (RADIO WOODSTOCK)/POUGHKEEPSIE-WOODSTOCK, NY has canceled BOB WOHLFELD's show.  GREG GATTINE (former morning host) is staying in afternoons, JIMMY BUFF is now hosting mornings, and CARMEL HOLT back to hosting middays. Station Owner/Pres. GARY CHETKOF posted on the station’s FACEBOOK page:

"Dear RADIO WOODSTOCK 100.1 WDST listeners,

Thank you so much for your feedback about our new morning show with THE WOLF.  We decided that we need to listen to all of you, so we have officially ended Wakin' Up With THE WOLF.

We are humbled by your passion for what RADIO WOODSTOCK stands for and we are committed to remain true to those ideals and to stand by our slogan 'It's About the Music.'"

WOHLFELD said, "GARY and I both agreed I was not a good fit.  My style of humor and the things I do best were not going to work with what WDST is known for.  I love the people there and the station so it was a very friendly parting."
