Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson, James Taylor Lend Music's Voice To Presidential Inauguration

The music business was front and center at the Inauguration ceremony YESTERDAY (1/21) for President BARACK OBAMA. BEYONCÉ, KELLY CLARKSON and JAMES TAYLOR brought star power to the political arena.
JAMES TAYLOR followed the swearing in of Vice President JOE BIDEN, and provided an acoustic version of "America The Beautiful," and hugged OBAMA after the performance.
KELLY CLARKSON, who is nominated for four GRAMMYS this year, sang "America (My Country 'Tis Of Thee)," accompanied by the U.S. MARINE Band following the President's inaugural address. .
GRAMMY AWARD winner BEYONCÉ, sang "The Star-Spangled Banner," and wowed in a sheer black gown. It was a return appearance for BEYONCÉ, who performed ETTA JAMES' "At Last" at OBAMA's first Inauguration in 2009.
Country music was also represented by ARISTA NASHVILLE artist BRAD PAISLEY's performance at the Inauguration Ball.
