Kathy Merritt Joins Public Radio International

CORPORATION FOR PUBLIC BROADCASTING Sr. Dir./Program Investments - Radio KATHY MERRITT is joining PUBLIC RADIO INTERNATIONAL as VP/Content Strategy and Development. MERRITT, who will start at PRI on FEBRUARY 4th, will report to Chief Content Officer MELINDA WARD.
MERRITT, who has managed AMERICAN UNIVERSITY noncommercial Talk WAMU/WASHINGTON and has worked at WFAE/CHARLOTTE, KBPS/PORTLAND, and the STATION RESOURCE GROUP, said, “I'm thrilled to join PRI. This job allows me to build on my experience in public media and be part of one of its leading content producing and distributing organizations. PRI has a clear vision of its role as source of distinctive content, a pioneer in engagement, and a collaborator that can uniquely tie national and local public media resources across platforms.
