CLEAR CHANNEL Sports KJR-A-KNBQ (SPORTS RADIO KJR)/SEATTLE has filled the afternoon gap left by MIKE GASTINEAU's departure in DECEMBER (NET NEWS 12/4) by moving midday host DAVE "SOFTY" MAHLER to 3-6p weekdays.
GASTINEAU's former sidekick ELISE WOODWARD and SEATTLE TIMES columnist JERRY BREWER have been teamed up to take over MAHLER's 10a-noon slot.
GASTINEAU exited the show DECEMBER 6th after being with the station since 1991 and in afternoons since 1993. MITCH LEVY remains in mornings and IAN FURNESS with JASON PUCKETT in the noon-3p position.
