Lori Bennett Tapped As PD For WDVD

CUMULUS SVP/Corporate Programming JAN JEFFRIES has announced the promotion of Talk WJR-A & Hot AC WDVD/DETROIT Promotion & Marketing Dir. LORI BENNETT to the post of PD/afternoon personality at WDVD. She's filling the post that RON HARRELL vacated when he joined CBS/DALLAS last year, (NET NEWS 9/6/12).

JEFFRIES told ALL ACCESS, "We've interviewed many talented folks in the last couple of months, and in the tradition of CUMULUS, we love to promote talented people from within, and I'm so pleased that we have LORI BENNETT right in our own building.  LORI, who formerly programmed WNIC years back, has a keen understanding of the market and of the strengths of WDVD.
