Bob Davis Retires From Kansas City Royals Radio

BOB DAVIS has announced his retirement from the KANSAS CITY ROYALS broadcast team. DAVIS has been with the ROYALS for 16 years, the first 11 on television with the late PAUL SPLITORFF and the last five on radio on a network headed by ENTERCOM Sports KCSP-A (610 SPORTS RADIO)/KANSAS CITY.
STEVE STEWART will take over DAVIS' assignments on the radio broadcasts along with DENNY MATTHEWS, who is entering his 45th season with the ROYALS, and RYAN LEFEBVRE and STEVE PHYSIOC, who handle both radio and TV play-by-play.
DAVIS will continue in his longtime role as radio voice of UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS football and men's basketball.
