AWMF Name Gracie Award Winners

2013 Winners

The ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN IN MEDIA FOUNDATION has announced the 2013 local, online, public and student winners of the annual GRACIE AWARDS. The winners will be recognized at an industry luncheon on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26th, 2013, at the HILTON NEW YORK in NEW YORK. NATIONAL GRACIE AWARD winners will be presented at the BEVERLY HILTON HOTEL on TUESDAY, MAY 21st.

This year’s local, online public and student winners include: AMERICAN PUBLIC MEDIA’s Education and Poverty Series, MARQUETTE UNIVERSITY’s The Halo Project, iVILLAGE’s Digital Publication, 50 Best-to-Worst States for Women, Classical KING FM 98.1 host LISA BERGMAN, and KOMO-TV’s What Are the Chances?

"The power of these individuals and programs to both encourage and educate is truly inspiring," AWMF Chair KAY OLIN said. "We look forward to celebrating these incredible accomplishments and contributions to the media industry."
