Museum Of Broadcast Communications Gets Grant From CBS 2/Chicago

The MUSEUM OF BROADCAST COMMUNICATIONS has received a $500,000. grant from CBS O&O WBBM-TV (CBS 2)/CHICAGO, reports the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES' ROBERT FEDER. The grant is a combination of cash and PSA time to promote the CHICAGO museum and sponsor the CBS 2 CHICAGO THEATER, a 40 seat video room at the museum's new facility,
The museum's construction stopped in MAY when the state stopped funding the project; Pres./CEO BRUCE DUMONT is meeting with ILLINOIS officials to get the $6 million in funding promised by Gov. ROD BLAGOJEVICH released.
