The FCC has rescinded its conditional grant of the license renewal for ENID PUBLIC RADIO ASSOCIATION low power FM KEIF-LP/ENID, OK and has deleted the call letters and license, saying that the licensee failed to comply with the conditions of its renewal grant in JULY 2010.
The station was hit with a proposed $10,000 fine and conditional renewal for operating with an antenna higher than authorized and airing unauthorized commercials. The licensee was supposed to file a report showing compliance with the antenna height authorization within 90 days after the renewal order and lists of underwriters and other supporting log material every 180 days. The station submitted none of the reports. It did request an STA to operate with temporary antenna facilities in OCTOBER 2010, and that STA was granted but expired on APRIL 19, 2011 with no renewal application filed. Finally, after having the $10,000 fine made official in APRIL 2011, the licensee filed its renewal application almost two years late, in FEBRUARY 2013.
