The syndicated weekly military news and talk radio show FRONTLINES OF FREEDOM has been added at GOOD NEWS COMMUNICATIONS Talk KVOI-A (THE VOICE)/TUCSON for SATURDAYS 9-11p, effective MARCH 30th. The show expanded to two hours weekly on MARCH 2nd and was honored with two awards by the MICHIGAN ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS at its 2012 Broadcast Excellence Awards, bestowed on MARCH 13th.
Host Lt. Col. DENNY GILLEM, U.S. ARMY (Ret.) said of the awards, "To be recognized again for producing a top notch program is not only good for our show's team, but it sends the message to all radio stations that you too can add winning shows to your station's weekend schedule. Our affiliates already know that, and we thank them for it."
Executive Producer JOSH LENG added. "We made the decision to expand FRONTLINES OF FREEDOM to two hours based on listener response, the host's desire, advertiser demand, and radio Program Directors' feedback to have a longer show that offers a better 'Time Spent Listening' opportunity to improve their ratings. The two hour program also ensures we always have enough time to fully cover all the important military news and issues of the day."
The show is now on 15 radio stations nationwide
