WUSQ Raises Over $120K For 'Cares For Kids'

CCM+E Country WUSQ (Q102)/WINCHESTER, VA recently conducted its "Cares For Kids" Radiothon to benefit THE CHILDREN’S NATIONAL MEDICAL CENTER in WASHINGTON, D.C. The station broadcasted live from the hospital atrium for two days - MARCH 21st and 22nd -- and raised $123,482.29.

"We are truly amazed at the overwhelming generosity our listeners showed through their donations," CCM&E Regional Program Manager/WINCHESTER OM DAVID MILLER said. "It was two very special days, raising money for a truly special hospital, CHILDREN’S NATIONAL MEDICAL CENTER.  I am so proud of our CCM&E/WINCHESTER team. These two days immensely showed the power of local radio bringing a community together for a great cause, Our Kids."
