ROBBY TOWNS, Founder of the NESTAMUSIC consultancy and a 10-year managerial and professional service veteran, has been named Community Manager of DIGITALMUSIC.ORG, the home of music business association NARM’s digital initiatives. TOWNS, who is based in NASHVILLE, will replace ANTONY BRUNO, who is leaving to focus full-time on his content consulting business.
"We first worked with ROBBY when he wrote our white paper ‘MetaMillions: Turning Bits Into Bucks for the Music Industry Through the Standardization of Archival and Contextual Metadata,’ and we’re thrilled to be bringing him on to work with us," said VP/Digital Strategy & Business Development BILL WILSON. "With his extensive experience at major record labels, premier digital companies, and more, ROBBY is uniquely qualified to help us advance the cause of digital music."
