VALLEYDALE BROADCASTING, LLC is selling AC WDUC (93.9 THE DUCK)/LYNCHBURG, TN to BOWMAN BROADCASTING, LLC for $475,000 ($425,000 cash, $50,000 in a note).
In other filings with the FCC, COCHISE MEDIA LICENSES LLC has filed for an extension of its Silent STA for KXBK/TAYLOR, AZ so it can make the sign-on of the station simultaneous with the move and relaunch of co-located KZXQ. It has also filed for an extension of its Silent STA for KRMK/LAS VEGAS, NM because it has lost its site and is moving to a new permanent location, and for an extension of the Silent STA for KXML/FAIRFIELD, ID while it waits for another station to complete a channel change that COCHISE complains has not yet been accomplished. Finally, COCHISE has applied for an extension of its Silent STA for KFMR/BALLARD, UT while it attempts to complete a three-way swap, which has been delayed due to the bankruptcy of another party.
WESTERN SLOPE COMMUNICATIONS, LLC has requested an extension of its Silent STA for KAYW/MEEKER, CO, saying that it "has worked for since (going) silent in AUGUST 2012 to resolve the issues of staffing, financing and technical issues in an effort to bring KAYW back to servicing the NORTHERN COLORADO area from MEEKER, to no avail at this point. We have recently been in contact with an operator that has other stations in the area, in an effort to sell this operation or arrange for a trade of stations that are within operations WESTERN SLOPE has in other parts of the state. We request time to explore these possibilities."
MICHAEL MAHONE's CONVERGENT BROADCASTING CORPUS CHRISTI, LP has closed on the sale of three CORPUS CHRISTI stations -- Top 40 KKPN (PLANET 102.3)/ROCKPORT, TX, Classic Hits KAJE (107.3 JAKE FM)/INGLESIDE, TX, and Classic Rock KPUS (CLASSIC ROCK 104.5)/GREGORY, TX -- to DANIEL J. DUMAN's CONVERGENT BROADCASTING II LLC for $2.3 million.
TOWERS INVESTMENT TRUST has closed on the sale of temporarily-silent Top 40/Rhythmic KTTY (105.1 MAX FM)/NEW BOSTON, TX-TEXARKANA to TEXARKANA RADIO CENTER for $150,000.
And CALVARY CHAPEL OF TERRE HAUTE has closed on the donation of WVWG/SEELYVILLE, IL to CALVARY RADIO NETWORK, INC. for no consideration.
