THE BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE® FOUNDATION will present the family of DEANNA MENDOZA, a TAMPA POLICE DEPARTMENT dispatcher who was murdered in JANUARY, with a check for her three children in the amount of $15,000, TOMORROW at the TAMPA POLICE DEPARTMENT’s Communications Office at 12:30p. THE BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE® FOUNDATION is a 501(3)(C) charitable organization with the mission of assisting the families of first responders, in their time of need.
"A lot of times, people forget the high-stress job the dispatchers have, said BUBBA THE LOVE SPONGE® CLEM. "People’s lives depend on the efficiency of police dispatchers and I wanted to remember her life and thank her family for her service."
CLEM will be joined by TAMPA POLICE DEPARTMENT Major BRIAN DUGAN for the presentation. Members of DEANNA’s family and her co-workers will also be present.
