THINKSAY VP/Promotion DAN PEARSON has been handed additional responsibilities, and will now be companywide VP, and add to his current responsibilities by supervising efforts in the areas of Sports Marketing and Branding. PEARSON most recently spearheaded the label's campaign for CHRIS WALLACE’s debut single, "Remember When (Push Rewind)," which became one of the biggest indie singles of 2012.
PEARSON has nearly 20 years of experience in the music business, working for COLUMBIA, UNIVERSAL MOTOWN, VIRGIN, TVT, S-CURVE and GLASSNOTE RECORDS.
THINKSAY Co-president BEN SINGER commented on PEARSON’s expanding role, "DAN is the kind of leader that is always raising the bar. I look forward to continued excellence from him in his new role."
Upon his promotion, PEARSON announced, "It's a privilege to work with people every day that you admire and believe in. I’m looking forward to continue growing our new company and taking on these new roles."
JOSH TANGNEY has been acting as VP/Operations and will now take on a larger role as companywide VP. His new responsibilities will be as acting liaison for all touring operations, managing all syncs and licensing, as well as overseeing Human Resources for the organization.
Previously, TANGNEY served as VP at SMG Entertainment, the management company responsible for the careers of such artists as ANDY GRAMMER and CHRIS WALLACE.
SINGER commented, "JOSH has proven to be a tremendous asset for THINKSAY. We see him as a key to the future of what we are building in the company."
Upon his announcement TANGNEY said, "I’m thrilled to be working with such a talented and dedicated team and I’m excited to step up to my new roles and to continue to break new ground with THINKSAY."
KERRY LEE also joins THINKSAY as general promotion assistant, media and online support, and Human Resources liaison. LEE, currently finishing classes at NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY with a degree in Music Industry, has previously held internship positions at both S-CURVE and THINKSAY.
Label Co-President BRAD DAVIDSON explains this recent expansion. "2012 was a tremendous launch for THINKSAY. The promotions and new hire reflect the hard work and complete dedication given by these staff members. We are thrilled to announce their achievements and look forward to building THINKSAY with them on board."
