OAKLAND RAIDERS football is moving from CBS RADIO Alternative KITS (LIVE 105)/SAN FRANCISCO to crosstown ENTERCOM Sports KGMZ (95.7 THE GAME) under a new multi-year agreement. THE GAME, on which longtime RAIDERS play-by-play voice GREG PAPA co-hosts middays, will air all pre-season, regular season and post-season games, as well as weekly call-in shows with coach DENNIS ALLEN.
MONDAYs on the station during the season will be branded "RAIDER MONDAYS." Games bumped from THE GAME by OAKLAND A's baseball will air on sister Classic Rock KUFX-KUZX (98.5-102.1 KFOX). PAPA and TOM FLORES will return to call the action.
"We are delighted to begin this exciting new relationship with 95.7 THE GAME and we look forward to working with COMPASS MEDIA to establish a broad affiliate network throughout CALIFORNIA and beyond,” said RAIDERS CEO AMY TRASK.
“The best NFL coverage in the BAY AREA just got even better,” said ENTERCOM VP/GM DWIGHT WALKER. “We welcome the RAIDER Nation, one of the most passionate and engaged fan bases in the NFL, to 95.7 THE GAME.”
The station and the RAIDERS will co-host a special three-hour NFL Draft show TONIGHT (4/25), hosted by PAPA with former RAIDER ROD WOODSON and ROXY BERNSTEIN.
