Keke Luv's 6th Annual 'Live For 175' Finishes Up At 5p Today
April 29, 2013 at 6:01 AM (PT)
PEAK BROADCASTING Top 40 KSAS (103.3 KISS FM)/BOISE PD/Morning maven KEKE LUV (STEVE KICKLIGHTER) is on the final hours of his annual 175 hour broadcast to raise awareness of child abuse throughout THE TREASURE VALLEY of IDAHO. The broadcast ends at 5p TODAY, APRIL 26th, but the hope is the message continues throughout the community long after the bike tires stop spinning.
Commenting on this year’s broadcast, PEAK BROADCASTING/BOISE SVP/Market Manager KEVIN GODWIN said, "KEKE and our 103.3 KISS FM team have done it again... 175 straight hours of broadcasting on location and this time only with the community’s help to power the message. I’m always in awe of the support we receive from the community on our annual 'Live for 175' Child Abuse awareness project. We’ve had thousands of people participate this week, riding bikes and doing what they can to help us make an impact. After 175 straight hours, I would expect KEKE and all of us to sleep well this weekend."
A candlelight vigil for past victims of abuse as well as the many that have come forward during the broadcast, was held last THURSDAY. More than 500 people attended the event.
