BIG MACHINE RECORDS artist TIM McGRAW has begun his second year with the HOME ON THE HOMEFRONT program, planning to donate homes at all 31 stops on his 2013 "TWO LANES OF FREEDOM" tour. The donations are made possible in partnership with CHASE, ACM LIFTING LIVES and the non-profit OPERATION HOMEFRONT.
Recently, McGRAW and CAPITOL NASHVILLE artist DIERKS BENTLEY congratulated ARMY Sergeant MATHEW PICKAR and his wife with a mortgage-free home and $10,000 for set up, all in part of the ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC's (ACM) LIFTING LIVES.
“The new home gives us some certainty in an uncertain time,” said PICKAR. “It is a tremendous feeling to know that we will have a safe place to live and take care of my family. We are so thankful for the opportunity to become homeowners.”
McGRAW has also begun his second year partnering with PENNZOIL on his "TWO LANES OF FREEDOM" tour, offering exclusive content to fans, as well as the chance to win a customized DODGE CHALLENGER SRT.
"One of the feelings I think you take away from my new album is the freedom you get out on the open road, and I really wanted to take my fans on a ride from the time the album starts to the very last track. The same goes for the tour," explained McGRAW. "It just made sense to team up with PENNZOIL again for another SUMMER. They are great partners and I know they have a lot of stuff planned for the fans out on the road."
