Cox/Ohio Ups Nick Roberts To VP/Marketing

COX MEDIA GROUP/OHIO has promoted NICK ROBERTS to VP/Marketing; he replaces DONNA HALL, who was recently promoted to Group VP at COX MEDIA in ATLANTA. ROBERTS will oversee the strategic marketing activities of CMG/OHIO’s integrated brands, drive product development and accelerate media platform convergence.
COX MEDIA GROUP/OHIO is comprised of broadcast properties that include WHIO-TV, a CBS affiliate, and its DAYTON radio cluster of Talk WHIO A-F, Country WHKO K99.1FM and Classic Hits WZLR 95.3 (The Eagle), as well as print and digital products for the DAYTON DAILY NEWS, HAMILTON JOURNALNEWS, SPRINGFIELD NEWS-SUN, and The MIDDLETOWN JOURNAL daily newspapers, the weekly OXFORD PRESS, and TODAY’S PULSE weekly newspapers; targeted print and digital products such as ActiveDayton.com, SKYWRIGHTER, DAYTONB2B and SPRINGFIELDB2B.
ROBERTS previously Regional Dir./Programming for CMG’s OHIO and LOUISVILLE radio stations and the Radio News-Talk-Sports Format Leader for COX MEDIA GROUP nationwide. ROBERTS will retain his national format leader duties for CMG.
