Fisher House Special Available For Memorial Day Weekend

FISHER HOUSE FOUNDATION is once again offering a MEMORIAL DAY special, "A GRATEFUL NATION," in a new three-hour format. The show, a spoken word special for News-Talk stations in its second year, is hosted by COX MEDIA GROUP News-Talk WSB-A-WSBB/ATLANTA morning host SCOTT SLADE and distributed by PREMIERE NETWORKS. The show honors military personnel who have fought and died in the service of the country, and their loved ones, and raises awareness of the foundation's work building housing for families of wounded warriors at military hospitals to use during recovery.
“It’s so important that we continue to remember and support our volunteer military and their families,” said SLADE. “These folks make incredible sacrifices to protect our freedom and keep us safe. I’m honored to tell their stories.”
The show, produced by BLOOMQUIST MEDIA and set up in modular hour-long segments, is being offered on a barter basis with five in-show network minutes per hour, most promoting FISHER HOUSE. A no-obligation; MEMORIAL DAY-specific FISHER HOUSE PSA will feed with the show, to be run at stations' discretion.
