RAMSAY, 88, a Basketball Hall of Fame member from his long college and NBA coaching career, announced, "I need some medical treatments at this time and will be unable to work the rest of NBA postseason on ESPN RADIO. I'll miss doing the broadcasts, but I'll be watching and listening." He did not specify a particular ailment but has been treated in the past with prostate cancer and melanomas.
The network issued a statement saying, ""Our thoughts are with DR. JACK, who is an important member of the ESPN family. We wish him the very best."
