INDIANA COMMUNITY RADIO CORP. President and Pastor MARTIN HENSLEY has been arrested for having a gun on school property at an elementary school in GREENFIELD, IN, reports CBS affiliate WISH-TV/INDIANAPOLIS.
The report states that HENSLEY, head of the nonprofit ownership of several noncommercial Contemporary Christian stations in INDIANA, was spotted wearing a shoulder holster while at the school to have lunch with his children by a security officer. HENSLEY allegedly told the officer his gun was in his car. A semi-automatic handgun was in the car, parked in front of the school. INDIANA law allows guns in vehicles on school property only when parents are picking up or dropping off children.
HENSLEY's company operates six full-power stations and 13 FM translators.
