In a survey of 9,400 Christian radio fans representing 8 stations and 2 national networks (KLOVE and AIR1), listeners shared their likes and dislikes over a range of topics.
87% have a social networking page and are very likely to share & "like" their favorite station.
56% own a smartphone, and 34% own a tablet.
Over 33% are signed up for TWITTER and/or PINTEREST.
More than any other format, Christian music listeners say they tune in to help them get in a better mood and 56% say they listen to streaming radio at least once a week.
JACOBS MEDIA Pres FRED JACOBS said, “Last year, the Net Promoter recommendation score among Christian Radio listeners was off the charts. This year, it's even better, which is a major advantage for stations in the format.”
