Townsquare/Lawton OK Stage Relief Drive For Tornado Victims

TOWNSQUARE MEDIA/LAWTON, OK outlets KLAW, KVRW and KZCD wrapped up a 1 1/2-day relief drive for the victims of the city of MOORE, OK, which was devastated by a massive tornado MONDAY afternoon. During the drive, the on-air staff and sales department were on hand at the LAWTON SAM’S CLUB to accept donations of water, snack food, gloves, boots and other necessary items to aid in the cleanup.  

During the drive, money was also accepted for the AMERICAN RED CROSS. The two-day tally netted over $6,000. Upon completion of the relief effort, five trucks were sent to Oklahoma City for sorting and distribution.
