Report: Bill White Exits As WGN PD

CHICAGOLAND RADIO AND MEDIA is reporting that BILL WHITE has exited the PD post at TRIBUNE Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO.  WHITE joined WGN in early 2011 after stints at, among other stops, WBT-A-F and WLNK (107.9 THE LINK)/CHARLOTTE, KDKA-A/PITTSBURGH and WTVN-A/COLUMBUS.

The site reported that WHITE e-mailed staff to say, "Today is my last day as Dir./Programming & News of WGN Radio. Having the opportunity to work with such a tremendous team at one of AMERICA's legendary radio station has been a privilege and an honor. I wish you and WGN Radio much success in the future."

WHITE exits as JIMMY DECASTRO arrives this week as the new Pres./GM of the station.
