CCM+E And Fearless Records Have A Digital Deal

CLEAR CHANNEL MEDIA AND ENTERTAINMENT continues to sign performance deals with independent labels, this time agreeing to pay artist performance royalties to FEARLESS RECORDS, which has a roster including PLAIN WHITE T’s, BREATHE CAROLINA, MAYDAY PARADE, EVE 6, THE AQUABATS!, PIECE THE VEIL, THE SUMMER SET and AT THE DRIVE-IN.
FEARLESS is the latest label to sign a deal, with BIG MACHINE, WIND-UP RECORDS, GLASSNOTE ENTERTAINMENT, ROBBINS ENTERTAINMENT, DASHGO, RPM ENTERTAINMENT, E1 ENTERTAINMENT and NAXOS previously agreeing to a deal with CCM+E.
In a press release, CLEAR CHANNEL and FEARLESS wrote, "This agreement is the latest step in establishing a sustainable business model for the Internet radio industry."
CLEAR CHANNEL CEO BOB PITTMAN said, "These market-based partnerships with record labels are part of CLEAR CHANNEL’s efforts to help build a sustainable business model for Internet radio.
