SoundOut Pacts With Reverb Nation For Crowd Review

Pre-release music testing firm SOUNDOUT has entered into a multiyear partnership with REVERBNATION to power a new consumer insight product called CROWD REVIEW. Under the agreement, SOUNDOUT will provide millions of crowd-sourced reviews, ratings and comparative analytics generated by its proprietary panel of music consumers, on hundreds of thousands of tracks by independent artists in the REVERBNATION community.
SOUNDOUT’s analytics engine is entirely powered by over 300,000 music consumers who rate and review new music 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Results are normalized and compared against SOUNDOUT’s proprietary database of over 10 million track reviews, which is compared to hundreds of thousands of other tracks already tested to provide objective ratings of comparative

The partnership will also leverage SoundOut’s existing client relationships with major record labels and radio groups across the NORTH AMERICAN and U.K. markets, enabling the best-rated REVERBNATION artists to access a range of commercial opportunities.
