BEASLEY BROADCAST/FAYETTEVILLE's radio cluster has partnered with CUMBERLAND COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS and RICK HENDRICK TOYOTA-SCION in an effort to inspire high school seniors to stay in school and get good grades with "Show Up and Grades Up." For their efforts, each senior with a 3.2 or higher GPA and zero unexcused absences for the school year earned a chance to win a brand-new SCION.
"We had over 50 students meet the criteria, all of whom joined us for the 'Driven 2 Excel' finale at RICK HENDRICK TOYOTA-SCION," VP/Market Manager MAC EDWARDS said. "A 2013 SCION is the perfect new ride for college; seeing our winner accept the keys to his new car was just the best!"
BEASLEY/FAYETTEVILLE on-air personalities and staff members were on-site for the finale, which also offered students and family members food, and provided each senior with a gift bag filled with summer goodies and items for college. Also given away were two iPAD mini’s, a KINDLE Fire and several $50 VISA gift cards, compliments of local colleges and universities.
