MARC A. LEHMUTH is selling FM translators K229CE/HOLYOKE, CO, K291BW/NORTH PLATTE, NE, and K225BO/COLBY, KS to ARMADA MEDIA - MCCOOK, INC. for $40,000 ($4,000 cash, $36,000 in a promissory note). K291BW will rebroadcast Talk KODY-A/NORTH PLATTE.
In other filings with the FCC, RADIO POWER INC. has requested an extension of its silent STA for FM translator W276BH/BYHALIA, MS because the current economic climate does not make it possible for the translator to cover the costs of station operations.
RICHARD M. SCAIFE has closed on the sale of his 700 shares -- 70% -- of CALVARY, INC., licensee of News KQV-A/PITTSBURGH, to 22 MIN LLC, owned by CHERYL SCOTT and ROBERT DICKEY, JR., the heirs of the late ROBERT W. DICKEY, for $200,000. ROBERT W. DICKEY, SR. owned 20% of the company.
And POSITIVE ALTERNATIVE RADIO, INC. has closed on the sale of FM translator W249BE/ALEXANDRIA, VA to METRO RADIO, INC. for $130,000. The buyer will rebroadcast its Talk WTNT-A/ALEXANDRIA-WASHINGTON on the translator.
