EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. is selling FM translator W257CY/COLLIERVILLE, TN to MEMPHIS FIRST VENTURES, LP for $175,000.

In other filings with the FCC, FIRST VENTURES CAPITAL PARTNERS, INC. is selling FM translator K238AZ/ODESSA, TX to ICA RADIO LTD. for $50,000.  The station will rebroadcast Talk KCRS-A/MIDLAND.

RODNEY D. TOW has been appointed receiver for ABLE RADIO CORPORATION,  permittee of a new FM at AGUILA, AZ, as the company has been placed in Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

BUTTERFIELD BROADCASTING CORPORATION is selling the construction permit for FM translator K246BV/WATERVILLE, WA to DONALD C. WHITMAN for $6,000.

BRYAN KING has requested a Silent STA for KAJZ/LLANO, TX while a damaged antenna and mount are replaced.

PRESTON BROWN 's P.T. BROWN BROADCAST CO. has closed on the donation of Sports-Variety WHAP-A/HOPEWELL, VA to STEVE NUGENT's WHAP RADIO NETWORK for no consideration.

And LYLE E. DODGE has closed on the assignment of the construction permits for FM translators K295BT/WAPATO, WA and K283BX and K291BV/MABTON, WA to ALEXANDRA COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for assumption of legal, engineering, and FCC fees.

In a deal yet to appear in the FCC database, EASTERN AIRWAVES, LLC, an affiliate of CURTIS MEDIA, INC., is buying FM translator W283BT/BURLINGTON, NC from TRI-AD FAMILY NETWORK, INC. for $100,000. MEDIA SERVICES GROUP's BOB HEYMANN served as the exclusive broker representing the buyer in the deal.
