Jerry Mason Named GM At WJBE-A

ARM-RAGE R&B Oldies WJBE-A/KNOXVILLE names JERRY 'BOOGIE' MASON GM. MASON was most recently OM at MAXWELL Blues WMPR/JACKSON, MI. MASON takes the reins TODAY at WJBE-A.

WJBE-A has quite a history, The station was once owned by singer JAMES BROWN. ARM-RAGE's major stockholder is TENNESSEE State Rep. JOE ARMSTRONG. ARMSTRONG worked his way through the UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE working as an account executive for WJBE-A during BROWN's ownership.

JERRY MASON also worked for WJBE-A in various capacities during BROWN's ownership of the station. MASON tells ALL ACCESS that he, "jumped at the chance to come back home."
