The BROADCASTERS FOUNDATION OF AMERICA named four new members and a new officer to its Board of Directors at its recent meeting in NEW YORK. Joining the board are COBBCORP President BRIAN COBB; COX MEDIA GROUP President BILL HOFFMAN; SCRIPPS SVP, Television BRIAN LAWLOR; and CBS RADIO President/CEO DAN MASON. KATZ TELEVISION GROUP President and CEO LEO MACCOURTNEY has been named officer.
“I am proud to welcome these highly accomplished broadcasters and industry leaders to our Board,” said Chairman PHIL LOMBARDO. “Their example of giving back to our industry by serving as a Board member or officer is inspiring. I hope it will motivate others who work in broadcasting to identify ways they can help advance our cause of delivering financial relief to our colleagues who are struggling under the harshest of circumstances.”
