KCYY Names Jeff Miles To Mornings

COX MEDIA GROUP Country KCYY (Y100)/SAN ANTONIO has named former CUMULUS Top 40 WWWQ (Q100)/ATLANTA midday personality JEFF MILES to mornings. He succeeds JEFF ROPER, who exited Y100 in MAY (NET NEWS 5/3). “MILES IN THE MORNING” will debut on Y100 MONDAY, AUGUST 5^th.

“SAN ANTONIO listeners will wake up to one of the most compelling and energetic hosts in Country radio,” said OM/PD JEFF GARRISON. “JEFF brings a fresh approach to morning radio.  His enthusiasm and passion for creating great radio is evident the minute he opens the mike.”

The move marks a return to the LONE STAR STATE for MILES, who was born and raised in WACO, and has worked radio in DALLAS. MILES has also worked in NEW YORK in addition to his most recent stop in ATLANTA (NET NEWS 7/8).
