RTDNA Holds Election, Amy Tardif Become Chair-Elect

The RADIO TELEVISION DIGITAL NEWS ASSOCIATION elected a new Chair and board members at its Excellence in Journalism 2013 meeting in ANAHEIM this weekend.
FLORIDA GULF COAST UNIVERSITY noncommercial News-Talk-Jazz WGCU-F/FORT MYERS Station Manager and News Director AMY TARDIF was elected Chair-Elect for 2013-14 and will also serve as executive producer of next year's national convention in NASHVILLE. Last year's Chair-Elect, DELMARVA BROADCASTING CO. Director of News and Programming CHRIS CARL moves up to Chairman for 2013-14. Last year's Chair, UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN noncommercial News-Talk MICHIGAN RADIO News Director VINCENT DUFFY, moves to the Chair of the RADIO TELEVISION DIGITAL NEWS FOUNDATION for this year.
FOX NEWS' SEAN MCGARVY and RADIO ONE's DAN SHELLEY were re-elected as at-large directors, while consultant BRANDON MERCER (Region 2), CBS affiliate WLNS-TV/LANSING's JAM SARDAR (Region 7), CBS RADIO News KYW-A/PHILADELPHIA's BILL ROSWELL (Region 11), and NBC affiliate WHAG-TV/HAGERSTOWN, MD's MARK KRAHAM (Region 12) were re-elected as well. A successor for TARDIF's Region 12 seat will be named at a later date.
