WTOP Supports Navy Yard Relief Fund

HUBBARD BROADCASTING News WTOP/WASHINGTON, D.C. is teaming up with partnered with THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION FOR THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION,to support the Foundation’s “NAVY YARD Relief Fund.”

THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION FOR THE NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION, which managed the $25 million Survivors’ Fund for victims of the SEPTEMBER 11th attack on THE PENTAGON, has set up THE NAVY YARD RELIEF FUND to provide direct support where it is most urgently needed in the short-term. All contributions to the fund will support the victims’ families and those injured in MONDAY’s attack.

"Our hearts go out to those who were impacted by THE NAVY YARD tragedy," WTOP PD LAURIE CANTILLO said. "WTOP supports the efforts of THE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION to help our community heal.”
