MSG Networks And ESPN Deportes Nueva York Agree To Radio Deal

MSG NETWORKS and ESPN DEPORTES NUEVA YORK 1050AM announced a broadcasting agreement that will make 1050 the Spanish radio broadcast home of the NEW YORK KNICKS during the 2013-14 NBA season. The KNICKS on 1050AM start with the season opener against the MILWAUKEE BUCKS on WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 30th.
The agreement calls for 60 games on the schedule. The KNICKS Spanish radio broadcast team will include play-by-play veteran CLEMSON SMITH MUNIZ, who is also the voice of the NEW YORK JETS on 1050AM, and in-game analyst TINY CAINS. JERRY OLAYA and FELIPE LOPEZ will also contribute to broadcasts during the season.
“We are very excited to expand our basketball programming with complete coverage of the NEW YORK KNICKS,” DAVID ROBERTS said, the GM at ESPN DEPORTES RADIO NUEVA YORK 1050 AM and ESPN RADIO WEPN (98.7 FM). “It has been great working with MSG SPORTS and we look forward to continue this alliance to better serve the Hispanic sports fans in NEW YORK.”
