French music streaming service DEEZER plans on entering the American market in JANUARY 2014, MUSIC TIMES reports. The service has already created a considerable foothold internationally, attracting five million subscribers in more than 180 countries.
DEESR is expected to be a formidable rival to SPOTIFY, iTUNES RADIO, GOOGLE PLAY and the YOUTUBE music service, since it's partially funded by WMG owner LEN BLAVATNIK, and there have been reports of it cultivating business relationships with VERIZON and MICROSOFT.
