According to user ratings in the GOOGLE PLAY APP STORE, ACCURADIO, with an average score of 4.75 stars (on a 5-star scale), is the top-rated radio app on the ANDROID platform -- and, beyond that, even the top-rated app when the scope of analysis is expanded beyond radio to also look at music subscription services, song ID services, and similar apps.
User ratings of music apps from other well-known companies include K-LOVE (EMF) (4.65), SONGZA (4.63), DIGITALLY IMPORTED (4.62), TUNEIN (4.55), iHEARTRADIO (CLEAR CHANNEL) (4.54), LIVE365 (4.50), PANDORA (4.47), RDIO (4.07), STITCHER (4.05), SPOTIFY (4.04), SLACKER (3.94), RHAPSODY (3.92), LAST.FM (CBS INTERACTIVE) (3.86), RADIO.COM (CBS) (3.70) and SIRIUSXM (3.53).
"User ratings are clearly based on both the quality of the app itself and of the content delivered by the app," noted ACCURADIO Founder/CEO KURT HANSON, "and we believe our high user ratings are a testament to the quality of the product we've been building for the past decade."
ACCURADIO's managment team also includes COO JOHN GEHRON, VP/Programming PAUL MALONEY, VP/Technology MICHAEL SCHMITT and VP/Ad Ops JON GAUGER. "With increased competition on the iOS platform from APPLE's iTUNES RADIO service, the ANDROID platform is an increasingly important one to webcasters," HANSON observed.
