Three of AMERICAN GENERAL MEDIA's radio stations in ALBUQUERQUE joined forces for an all-day food and supply drive for homeless shelter JOY JUNCTION. ALBUQUERQUE's Classic Hits KABG (BIG 98.5), Top 40/Rhythmic KAGM (POWER 106.7), and Regional Mexican KLVO (RADIO LOBO 97.7) broadcast live last FRIDAY for nine hours, yielding over $1,000 in monetary donations, more than 600 pounds of food, 28 boxes of clothing, and 123 bags of clothing.
MATT RADER, Director of Marketing and Promotions for AMERICAN GENERAL MEDIA, said, "We couldn't be happier with these results. We knew our listeners would be generous, but we never imagined that they would be this giving. We couldn't have done this without them and are happy that we were able to help make the season a little brighter for those whom JOY JUNCTION serves."
