Dr. Frank Wright Named President And COO Of Salem Communications Corp.

Former NATIONAL RELIGIOUS BROADCASTERS President and CEO Dr. FRANK WRIGHT is joining SALEM COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION as President and COO, effective JANUARY 1st. WRIGHT, who headed the NRB from 2003 until his recent departure and previously spent seven years as Executive Director of the CENTER FOR CHRISTIAN STATESMANSHIP in WASHINGTON, will report to CEO ED ATSINGER.
ATSINGER said, "FRANK has nearly twenty years' experience working on CAPITOL HILL, ten years' experience working with the Federal Communications Commission and various Executive Branch agencies, and more than 20 years' experience working in and with broadcast media organizations. FRANK has also developed a robust network among DC-based public policy organizations, as well as DC-based political organizations.
"FRANK is an effective leader and team-builder with a strong entrepreneurial background, and has extensive executive experience in strategic planning and organizational structure. I expect him to hit the ground running and work closely with me in executing our business strategies."
