Guy Phillips Inks A New Deal With KYKY

CBS RADIO Hot AC KYKY (Y98)/ST. LOUIS' PHILLIPS AND COMPANY MORNING SHOW 34-year market vet GUY PHILLIPS has signed a multi-year contract extension with the station.

According to CBS/ST. LOUIS VP/Market Mgr. JOHN SHEEHAN, "GUY is the mastermind behind Y98's PHILLIPS AND COMPANY MORNING SHOW, a great companion to so many ST. LOUISANS and the highest-rated morning show on ST. LOUIS radio.  His run on one station is unmatched and the fact that he lives the lifestyle of his listeners, residing and working in ST. LOUIS is something we're very proud of."

Y98 PD MARTY LINCK commented, "GUY is an institution in the Bi-state.  He continuously reinvents his show, and has an uncanny way of relating to the audience.  I’m happy he will continue to call Y98 home."

GUY PHILLIPS began his radio career at KELP/EL PASO, TX, later moving to mornings at what was then KSLQ/ST. LOUIS where he worked for 12 years before transitioning to the Y98 PHILLIPS AND COMPANY MORNING SHOW which is made up of PHILLIPS, COURTNEY LANDRUM, JEN MYERS, KEVIN "THE INTERN," and LANCE HILDEBRAND. PHILLIPS was also elected to the ST. LOUIS RADIO HALL OF FAME and is active with many charitable organizations in the market including ST. PATRICK's CENTER, CENTRAL INSTITUTE FOR THE DEAF, RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE and others.
