The former host of a financial advice show that aired on SALEM Religion WTBN-A and Talk WGUL-A/TAMPA has been arrested and charged with fraud and racketeering in what officials call a $6 million Ponzi scheme that defrauded 38 people, reports the TAMPA TRIBUNE.
GARY L. GAUTHIER, former host of "IT'S GOD'S MONEY," and accountant DAVID GEORGE DRESLIN were arrested earlier this month and charged with racketeering, conspiracy in racketeering, two counts of organized fraud, six counts of sale of unregistered securities, six counts of sale of securities by an unregistered dealer, and two counts of security fraud.
The FLORIDA Department of Law Enforcement said that most victims were elderly and relied upon GAUTHIER's on-air statements when investing in the scheme.
