WNTB/ WLTT Hires Linda Wylde For Mornings

HOMETOWN WILMINGTON MEDIA (HWM) Country simulcast WNTB and WLTT ("THE DUDE")/WILMINGTON, NC has hired LINDA WYLDE as co-host for mornings. She previously spent four years co-hosting mornings at crosstown CUMULUS Country WWQQ, until she exited on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 6th (NET NEWS 1/2). Prior stops include CUMULUS/FAYETTEVILLE, NC and CUMULUS Country WGKX/MEMPHIS.

LINDA will join former HWM co-host of sister station Rock WBNE ("THE BONE"), and current midday host of PORT CITY RADIO, JIM WHITMEYER in the morning slot beginning on MONDAY (2/3).

"We are beyond excited to have LINDA joining HOMETOWN WILMINGTON MEDIA and returning to the airwaves as morning co-host on THE DUDE," said HWM station manager BEAU GUNN. "JIM and LINDA are icons on morning radio here in WILMINGTON. As other radio stations continue to stock their programming with out-of-market, syndicated deejays and pre-recorded voice tracks, our listeners will always know that the morning show on THE DUDE will always focus on topics related to our community. That’s our mission and that’s what WILMINGTON has asked for," he added.

HWM recently flipped WNTB  and WLTT to Country, from a News/Talk format on MONDAY, DECEMBER 2nd (NET NEWS 12/2).
